Spetisbury Manor is the pinnacle of luxury retirement living; providing permanent residential care, respite care and holiday stays in our stunning period manor house.
Our beautiful parkland gardens are lovingly looked after throughout the year; providing you with a peaceful and private environment that you can enjoy with the other residents and your family or friends when they come to visit. The gardens lead to the River Stour where you can feed the ducks and swans who have become regular visitors.
Enjoy delicious home cooked food every day using local produce whenever possible.
As we are located near to the river and coast, we have an abundance of choice when it comes to fresh produce. Our fresh fish is delivered from Poole Quay on a regular basis. Using premium, locally-sourced ingredients, our chefs prepare meals that are specifically tailored to your tastes and individual dietary needs, with the emphasis on traditional home cooking.
Start your day with a choice of Continental or English breakfast, which can be taken in your room. Later on, after your complimentary aperitif, you can indulge in your selection from the lunch and dinner menus. Both meals are served with a complimentary glass of wine in our exquisite dining room where you can relax and enjoy the experience. During the day, morning coffee and afternoon tea are served in our grand drawing room.

The emphasis at Spetisbury Manor is ensuring that you have control over your environment in a way that allows you to feel at home, whether it is re-arranging the furniture the way that you want it or bringing your own. House-trained pets are also welcome in our residential care home. Our team are always on hand to help with anything you might need. As well as a focus on care quality, all the rooms also have the added reassurance and security of a 24-hour call bell.
The upstairs rooms are served by a lift and many have glorious views across the garden and River Stour. We have 19 ensuite luxury rooms and three suites, Kingfisher, Mallard and Heron comprise of bedroom, ensuite and separate lounge.

Our luxury residential care home has everything you need to stay active in both body and mind with a range of optional activities and entertainment you can take part in every day including everything from art classes to armchair exercises, from vocalists to piano recitals. Parties to celebrate special events and birthdays can also be hosted here and we arrange trips to Dorset’s stunning countryside, the theatre and beyond. You have the option to be as involved in our fun and engaging activities as little or as much as you like.
